The 31st symposium of the Club Biocatalyse en Synthèse Organique (CBSO) will be held in the Hostellerie du Mont Aimé in Bergères-lès-Vertus from 29 september to 2 October 2026

Every two years, this symposium brings together around a hundred participants on the theme of Biocatalysis and Biotechnologies. Its aim is to forge interdisciplinary links between chemists and biologists from leading academic and industrial laboratories in the fields of biochemistry, biology, fine chemistry, process engineering and synthetic biology.

This 31st CBSO symposium follows on from the 2024 edition, which took place Cap Hornu in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, and will be organized face-to-face by the BioEcoAgro and UCCS laboratories of Nord de France. This 2026 edition will continue forging closer links between academic and industrial research, in particular around the development of innovative processes, but also to highlight applied processes applied and/or technology transfer towards industry.
